In 2004 Sarah Kendall was the first woman in nine years to receive a prestigious Perrier Award Nomination. Following her completely sold- out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, she went on to appear at the Brighton Comedy Festival and performed in the Perrier season at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End.

This show was the fourth solo show that Sarah had taken to Edinburgh. In 2003, she was one of only five acts selected by NBC to perform as part of their Edinburgh Nights season in New York. In 2002, Sarah was the only stand-up performer to win the Festival's prestigious Herald Angel Award.

Sarah has had huge success on the international circuit. She has performed at the Hong Kong Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe, four times at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, at the Berlin and Stavanger (Norway) Comedy Festivals, and in Los Angeles, Holland, South Africa, Singapore, New York and Belgium.

Having been nominated for the Time Out Comedy Award in 2006, she is back at the Edinburgh Fringe. She will be filling the Pleasance Cavern with an hour of her musings, ramblings, charming daftness and killer jokes.

Having eschewed TV and radio appearances for years, Sarah has recently accepted guest appearances on The World Stands Up (Paramount/ Comedy Central) Edinburgh and Beyond (Paramount) The Comic Side of Seven Days (BBC3) Four at the Store (Radio 4) and Parson's and Naylor's Pull Out Sections (Radio 2)

Sarah is currently writing and developing a sitcom with Big Talk Productions.
